Семантика назв небесних світил у середньополіських говірках

Abstract

У статті представлено лексикографічний аналіз номінацій небесних світил: Місяця, Сонця та зірок у їх середньополіських варіантах, висвітлено погляди дослідників та дані лексикографічних джерел, які стосуються зазначеної проблематики. Актуальність дослідження зумовлена тим, що лексико-семантичне поле «Назви небесних світил» у середньполіських говірках ще не була належно висвітлена науковцями. У статті здійснено порівняння функціонування лексем на позначення назв небесних світил у словниках та сучасних віруваннях поліщуків, досліджено склад, семантичну структуру лексем, що належать до лексико-семантичного поля «Назви світила». Для виконання поставлених завдань застосовано метод польового збору матеріалу, описовий метод, у межах якого використано прийом лексико-семантичного аналізу досліджуваних лексем, прийоми статистичного й лінгвогеографічного методів, які дали підстави встановити кількісне співвідношення й територіальне поширення аналізованих назв. Поліські назви Місяця, Сонця та зірок як небесних світил представлені парадигмою фонетичних та лексичних варіантів, що свідчить про їх давність (належать до індоєвропейського шару лексики). Дещо більшу варіативність, представлену, крім фонетичних, словотвірними варіантами, виявляють середньополіські назви фаз Місяця порівняно з назвами інших світил (Сонце, зірка). У ласкавих пестливих звертаннях до небесних світил, більшість яких стосується Місяця, відбивається повага до цих персоніфікованих об‘єктів, що відображають залишки давнього культу небесних світил. Представлені варіанти середньополіських назв небесних світил засвідчують збереження давніх вірувань поліщуків про небесні світила.

The paper gives some lexicographical analysis of the celestrial bodies names: the Moon, the Sun and the starsin their middle Polissian variants, as well as highlightens the researchers‘ views on the data from the lexicographical sources on the given topic. The research topicality is due to the fact that lexical-semantic group «The Names of the Celestrial Bodies» in middle Polissian dialects has not been elucidated enough by the researchers yet. The paper compares the lexical items functioning-names of the celestrial bodies – in dictionaries and in modern beliefs of Polissia population, analyzes the composition as well as the semantic structure of lexical items which belong to the lexical-semantic field «Celestrial Body names». The methods of field material collection and the discriptive method within which were used the methods of lexical-and-semantic analysis of the lexical items under inquiry, practices of statistical and linguageographical methods which made it possible to determine the quantitative ratio and the territorial spreading of the names under inquiry, were used to perform the tasks. The Polissian names of the Moon, the Sun and the stars as celestrial bodies are represented by the paradigm of phonetic and lexical variants, that testifies to their antiquity (belong to Indo-European layer of vocabulary). Somewhat broader variation, represented except phonetic by word-forming variants, reveal middle Polissian names of the Moon‘s phases as compared to the names of other celestrial bodies (the Sun, a star). In tender and sweet appeals to celestrial bodies, most of which concern the Moon, is shown the respect to these personified objects which reflect the remainder of the ancient cult to celestrial bodies. The represented variants of middle Polissian names of the celestrial bodies testify to preserving Polissia population‘s ancient beliefs concerning the celestrial bodies.
