Представництво провідних футбольних країн у змаганнях Ліги чемпіонів УЄФА впродовж 2009-2018 рр.

Abstract

Країни сучасного світу прагнуть демонструвати свою силу на світовій футбольній арені, а тому активно розвивають футбол на своїх теренах. Відповідно професійні футбольні клуби представляють свої країни на найпрестижніших футбольних змаганнях – Лізі чемпіонів УЄФА. Мета роботи. Виявити країни-фаворити змагань Ліги чемпіонів УЄФА за період 2009-2018 років. Матеріал і методи. Основний матеріал – протоколи змагань Ліги чемпіонів за 2009-2018 роки. Методи: аналіз та узагальнення науково-методичної літератури; теоретична інтерпретація та пояснення; аналіз документальних матеріалів; методи математичної статистики. Результати. У період 2009-2018 років проведення змагань Ліги чемпіонів активність країн-учасниць є високою. Аналіз різних стадій проведення змагань дозволив виявити, що найширше за цей період були представлені Іспанія, Англія, Німеччина, Італія та Франція. Не менше 2-5 команд щороку були учасниками Ліги чемпіонів від цих країн. Явним лідером сьогодні залишається Іспанія. Впродовж досліджуваного періоду окремі фінали Ліги чемпіонів були суто іспанськими. Дещо відстають за ігровими показниками Англія, Італія та Німеччина. Проте для Німеччини до прикладу успішним був сезон 2012-2013 рр., коли боротьбу за чемпіонство розігрували дві німецькі команди. Англія та Італія загалом за досліджуваний період у фіналах були представлені тричі. Висновки. Високий рівень конкуренції в останнє десятиліття на футбольній арені все ж демонструє суттєву перевагу іспанських команд. Їхнє представництво на різних стадіях Ліги чемпіонів, зокрема фінальних матчах, є наймасштабнішим. Серед фаворитів слід також відзначити Англію, Німеччину та Італію.

The development of professional sports on the one hand undergoes a significant influence of modern society, but on the other hand - sport determines certain aspects of the society development in which it functions. The countries of the modern world are trying to demonstrate their power at the world sports arena, in particular football. Therefore they are actively developing football in their territory. Accordingly, professional football clubs represent their countries at the most prestigious football competitions today - the UEFA Champions League. The purpose. Identify UEFA Champions League national favorites for the period 2009-2018. Material and methods. The main material on which the research based was the protocols of UEFA Champions League competitions for 2009-2018. Methods of research: analysis and generalization of scientific and methodical literature; theoretical interpretation and explanation; documentary analysis; methods of mathematical statistics. Results. The research shows that in 2009-2018 period of holding UEFA Champions League competition, the activity of the participating countries is rather high. The representation of these countries by soccer clubs is rather inequivalent. The analysis of different stages of the competition allowed us to find that Spain, England, Germany, Italy and France were the most widely represented in this period. At least 2-5 teams every year (during 2009-2018) were participants of the Champions League from these countries. At the same time, Spain remains the clear leader. It should be noted that during the study period, individual finals of the Champions League (2013- 2014 and 2015-2016) were purely Spanish. Only three times Spain did not fall into the final matches. Somewhat lag behind gaming performance such countries as England, Italy and Germany. However, for Germany, for example, the 2012-2013 season was successful, when two German teams competed for the championship. England and Italy were characterized by single appearances in UEFA Champions League finals and were generally presented three times during this period. Conclusions. The Champions League shows the highest rates of competitive activity and football skills of different teams and, in addition, the development of football in a particular country as a whole. The high level of competition in the last decade on the football arena still shows a significant advantage of the Spanish teams. Their representation at the various stages of the Champions League is the most extensive. England is not far away, which also provided a widespread representation of their teams in these competitions. But speaking about the finals should still point to the uncompromising superiority of Spain. Among favorites are also Germany and Italy.
