Особливості формування готовності старшокласників до військової служби та захисту вітчизни

Abstract

Cтаття присвячена актуальній проблемі сучасної педагогічної теорії і практики – особливості формування в учнів старших класів готовності до військової захисту Вітчизни. Актуальність зазначеної проблеми дослідження також визначається суспільним запитом щодо підвищення ефективності підготовки учнівської молоді до військової служби та захисту Вітчизни в закладах загальної середньої освіти у період фактичної війни на сході країни. Сутність та мета статті полягає у висвітленні сучасного стану готовності учнівської молоді щодо військової служби та захисту Вітчизни; визначенні та обґрунтуванні критеріїв і показників готовності старшокласників до військової служби та захисту Вітчизни; методики формування готовності учнів старших класів до військової служби та захисту Вітчизни в закладах загальної середньої освіти. Автором уточнено сутність понять “готовність старшокласників до захисту Вітчизни”. У роботі з’ясовано, що причинами низького рівня готовності старшокласників до військової служби та захисту Вітчизни є низька обізнаність з формами військово-патріотичної роботи, відсутність бажання брати участь у різних формах позакласної роботи. Значна частина викладачів допризовної підготовки потребують методичної підготовки.

The article is devoted to the topical problem of modern educational theory and practice – formation of senior students’ readiness to defend the Homeland. The urgency of the problem under research is determined by the social requirement of increasing the efficiency of student youth readiness to military service and defence of Homeland in general educational institutions in the period of factual war in the east of Ukraine. The essence and aim of the article is in the description of: contemporary state of student youth readiness to military service and Homeland defence; determining and substantiation of criteria and indices of high school students’ readiness to military service and Homeland defence; methods of formation of senior students’ readiness to military service and Homeland defence in general education institutions. During research, the author has applied theoretical methods (analysis, synthesis, comparison, classification, systematization, generalization), empirical methods (educational observation, conversation, questionnaire, testing of senior students, educational experiment (ascertaining, formative)) and statistical methods aimed at comparative analysis of research results, defining the dynamic of quantitative changes in the levels of Homeland defence readiness of high school students in general educational institutions. The scientific novelty of the research is the development of innovational methods of forming senior students’ readiness of military service and Homeland defence in general education institutions. The author has specified the essence of the notion ‘senior students’ readiness of Homeland defence’. In the paper, some causes of high school students’ low level of Homeland defence readiness are ascertained, namely lack of information on militarypatriotic work forms, lack of wish to take part in different forms of out-of-class activities. Many preconscript training teachers need methodic assistance. In accordance with the results obtained, the researcher makes a conclusion that the substantiated educational conditions of forming senior students’ readiness of Homeland defence and military service are effective, as well as subject and key competencies, and proves the necessity of their creative implementation in the educational process of general education institutions.
