The Essence and Content of Artistic-Pedagogical Skills in Future Fine Art Teachers

Abstract

The scientific publication emphasizes that the profession of Fine arts teacher involves fluent pedagogical and artistic professional knowledge and skills. Underlined that the training of future specialists in Painting should be carried out comprehensively, fully developing both artistic and pedagogical skills without distinguishing among them the main ones. The article presents analysis of modern approaches to interpretation of the essence and content of the professional skills in future teachers of Fine arts. Researched some definitions of pedagogical and artistic skills by native and foreign scholars, which allowed to highlight the unresolved aspects of this issue − particularly, the lack of a clear definition of the artistic and pedagogical skills concept in Ukrainian science. The author stresses on the necessity of combining artistic and pedagogical skills in a separate scientific concept and definition of this term. The author’s interpretation of meaning artistic and pedagogical skills in future Fine arts teachers as integral professional-personal neoplasm is defined, which is necessary for the full-fledged implementation of the educational process and the structural components are revealed which show their essence and content.

Наголошується, що професія вчителя образотворчого мистецтва передбачає вільне володіння педагогічними та художньо-професійними знаннями та вміннями. Підкреслено, що підготовку майбутніх спеціалістів потрібно здійснювати комплексно, розвиваючи в повній мірі як художні, так і педагогічні вміння, не виділяючи серед них головні. Представлено аналіз сучасних підходів до трактування сутності та змісту фахових умінь майбутніх учителів образотворчого мистецтва. Досліджено визначення педагогічних і художніх умінь вітчизняними та закордонними науковцями, що дозволило виокремити нерозв’язані аспекти питання. А саме, відсутність в українській науці чіткого визначення поняття художньо-педагогічні вміння. Автором обґрунтовується необхідність поєднання художньо-педагогічних умінь в окреме наукове поняття та визначення даного терміну. Запропоновано авторське трактування дефініції художньо-педагогічних умінь майбутніх учителів образотворчого мистецтва як інтегральне професійно-особистісне новоутворення, яке необхідне для повноцінного здійснення навчально-виховного процесу. Також виокремлено структурні компоненти, які розкривають їх сутність і зміст.
