Політична соціалізація особистості в умовах політико-культурної трансформації українського суспільства: сутність, проблеми, тенденції розвитку

Abstract

Дисертація присвячена концептуалізації сутності, визначенню проблем та тенденцій політичної соціалізації особистості в умовах політико-культурної трансформації українського суспільства. Останнє розглянуто як елемент системної трансформації українського суспільства, що позначає процес зміни окремих компонентів політичної культури при збереженні інших. Обґрунтовується суперечливість політичної соціалізації особистості в умовах політико-культурної трансформації: посилення потреби в усвідомленій, активній особистості та одночасне відчуження її від політичного життя. Відзначається, що політичні та економічні кризи, революції та війни формують і відповідну модель політичної соціалізації — модель адаптації до цих умов, що виявляється в адаптивній та адаптуючій формах поведінки особистості, успішність інтеграції яких залежить від її самовизначення і готовності змінювати порядок денний, що відповідає її реальним запитам та очікуванням. Удосконалено інтегративний характер методології аналізу предмету дослідження. Визначено та розкрито основні тенденції політичної соціалізації особистості в умовах політико-культурної трансформації українського суспільства — прагматизація, інформатизація, гібридизація, фрагментація свідомості та політичної активності. Аргументовано необхідність вдосконалення політичної, правової та медіаосвіти як механізмів політичної соціалізації особистості з метою формування її як свідомого та відповідального суб'єкта політичного життя.

В диссертации концептуализируются содержание, проблемы и тенденции политической социализации личности в условиях политико-культурной трансформации украинского общества. Последняя рассмотрена как элемент системной трансформации украинского общества и раскрывает процесс изменений отдельных компонентов политической культуры при сохранении других. Аргументируется противоречивость политической социализации в условиях политико-культурной трансформации: повышение потребности в осознании политических реалий и активности личности и одновременное её отчуждение от политики. Определяется, что кризисы, революции, войны формируют и соответствующую модель политической социализации – модель адаптации к этим условиям, что проявляется в адаптивной и адаптирующей формах поведения личности, успешность интеграции которых зависит от её самосознания и готовности инициировать изменения, отвечающие её запросам и ожиданиям. Усовершенствован интегративный характер методологии анализа предмета исследования. Определены основные тенденции политической социализации личности в условиях политико-культурной трансформации – прагматизация, информатизация, гибридизация, фрагментация сознания и политической активности. Аргументирована необходимость усовершенствования политического, правового и медиаобразования как механизмов политической социализации личности с целью формирования ее как сознательного, компетентного и ответственного субъекта политической жизни.

The thesis is devoted to the conceptualization of the essence, identification of the problems and prospects of political socialization of a personality in the context of political and cultural transformation of the Ukrainian society. The essence has been exposed as the process of assimilation of political knowledge and experience, formation of political consciousness and self-consciousness, political culture and behaviour of a personality, transmission of the specific features of political culture from one generation to another in the realm of the transformation dynamics, taking place in political and cultural spheres of the Ukrainian society, as well as challenges and discrepancies of the modern world. It stipulates the author’s vision of the phenomenon of political and cultural transformation as an element of a systemic transformation of the Ukrainian society, which defines the process of changes in separate components of the political culture, while preserving the others. It was found out that a change in one element of the political culture entails its transformation as an integrated phenomenon. It determines that the political and cultural transformation is a continuous, multi-aspect, complex and unpredictable process, which is contingent upon both objective and subjective factors. It was substantiated that in the context of the political and cultural transformation, political socialization is characterized by some contradictions: an increasing need for understanding the processes, taking place in the society, awareness of the goals and motives of political activities and development goals of the society, on the one hand; and a growing alienation of a person from political life, on the other hand. It is noted that such factors as wars, revolutions, political and economic crises shape an appropriate model of political socialization – a model of adaptation to military actions, transformational changes and conditions of the society in crisis, manifested in adaptable and adaptive forms of behaviour of a personality. The performance of political socialization in the context of political and cultural transformation depends on an optimal connection of the adaptation to changes with individual self-determination and willingness to change the agenda that meets the real needs and expectations of a personality. The methodology of analysis of political socialization of a personality in the context of political and cultural transformation of the Ukrainian society has been improved. The combination of the provisions of theories of social changes, political development, democratic transit, political modernization, political socialization, adaptation, frustration, manipulative influence, political culture and the integration of psychological, sociological, anthropological, cultural, behavioural, axiological, structural-functional and synergetic approaches and methods has allowed analysing political socialization as a process that enhances the creation of the conditions to preserve the continuity of generations in politics, the initiation of innovations and changes in living environment, as well as the organization of the structure of the personality through the formation of political awareness and political culture. Having performed the analysis of categories that reveal the phenomenon of political socialization, it was determined that mobilization and mimicry are the forms of a personal adaptation to the conditions of a transformation society; however, “split personality”, anomie, alienation, and destructive behaviour, etc. are the forms of de- socialization. The thesis specifies the trends of political socialization of a personality in the context of political and cultural transformation of the Ukrainian society, including pragmatisation (in transitional societies that lack long-term democratic and legal traditions, political pragmatism is associated with a primitive, simplified individualism of political leaders, parties, and every voter, and it leads not to unity and social development, but to amoralisation of the politics, disrespect for legal mechanisms, loyalty to the corruption and crime), informatization, hybridization (combining democratic and authoritarian forms of political socialization, with an increase of mobilizing means in its structure; the dominance of external, rather than internal factors and motives of political socialization; discrepancy between declared democratic forms of political socialization and authoritarian intrinsic motivation), fragmentarity of political activity and its limitation mainly to a scope of protests, passivity and alienation in the sphere of control of authorities, as well as constructive ordering of a social life. The importance of forming awareness of own political interests, internal convictions and will of a personality has been emphasized, as it is a driving force of his/her activities, rather than their imitation, as well as an effective result of political socialization. Reasons have been given for the necessity of improving the political, legal and media education as a mechanism of political socialization of a personality to shape him/her as a conscious and responsible subject of a political life.
