Розвиток критичного мислення старшокласників на уроках української літератури

Abstract

У дисертації розкрито проблему розвитку критичного мислення старшокласників на уроках української літератури. Обґрунтовано доцільність розвитку цього типу мислення на уроках української літератури, проаналізовано праці вітчизняних і зарубіжних учених з цієї теми, визначено основні підходи до розвитку критичного мислення учнів, подано теоретичне обґрунтування власної методики з основною її характеристикою, висвітлено особливості розвитку мислення школярів старших класів. Відповідно до психолого-педагогічних і методичних особливостей уроку літератури запропоновано методи, прийоми та види навчальної роботи, що допомагають розвивати критичне мислення учнів. Експериментально доведено, що запропонована методика розвитку критичного мислення старшокласників на уроках української літератури виявилася ефективною і заслуговує на поширення.

Диссертация посвящена проблеме развития критического мышления старшеклассников на уроках украинской литературы. Обоснована целесообразность развития этого типа мышления на уроках украинской литературы, проанализированы труды отечественных и зарубежных ученых по этой теме, определены основные подходы к развитию критического мышления учащихся, представлено теоретическое обоснование собственной методики с основной ее характеристикой, освещены особенности развития мышления школьников старших классов. Согласно психолого-педагогических и методических особенностей урока литературы подобраны оптимальные методы, приемы и виды учебной работы учащихся. Экспериментально доказано, что предложенная методика развития критического мышления старшеклассников на уроках украинской литературы оказалась эффективной и заслуживает распространения.

The thesis researches the development of senior pupils’ critical thinking at Ukrainian literature lesson. It was found that critical thinking is a necessary condition for the young people’s development and their successful adaptation in society. For modern society more valuable are those individuals who are able to work independently with information, analyze it comprehensively, propose and test their own hypotheses, build the evidence base, identify causal relationships, generate and implement new ideas, express their views convincingly, check them in dialogues or discussions, respect the opinions of others, expose their own thinking processes of reflection. They are willing to correct their mistakes, improve judgment, make meaningful decisions. The paper analyzes the native and foreign scholars’ works on the subject, the meaning of "critical thinking" was analyzed in philosophical, psychological and pedagogical literature, the basic approaches of the development of critical thinking were determined, theoretical reasoning of its own methods with its main characteristics was given, the peculiarities of the development of senior pupils’ thinking are highlighted. The method of the development of critical thinking at Ukrainian literature lesson is based on the achievements of Ukrainian and foreign scientists, the ideas of famous philosophers, psychologists and educators. The leading idea and mechanisms of its implementation are clearly stated, the main problems are listed, the training methods are optimally combined, techniques, initial contract and type of work. Their use allows a teacher to form the necessary critical thinking skills; it provides the pupils’ active learning, helps to analyze new information comprehensively and form their own conclusions. Teachers can use these methods as the lessons of traditional form and in the classroom discussions, seminars and conferences. The author’s method was developed for senior pupils, because age capabilities, outlook features and the partially formed abilities to work with a text provide the necessary conditions for the development of high-level thinking. The system pilot lessons conclusively confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed dissertation methods of critical thinking. Senior pupils improved ability to work with texts, analyze events, actions of actors establish causal relationships, compare images, works, genres, literary trends, make generalizations. With each lesson, students showed more independence in choosing the ways of solving the problem tasks involved in discussions, learn, look at a quote to confirm their ideas, build the story on arguments and facts found in the product. It was experimentally proved that the technique of the development of senior pupils’ critical thinking at Ukrainian literature lesson was effective and deserves to be disseminated. Working hours dissertation can be used by teachers in the classroom at schools, lyceums and colleges. The main provisions, results and conclusions of the study can be used during seminars, meetings methodical tips when creating school curricula Ukrainian and foreign literature.
