Сім'я є однією з найважливіших основ розвитку суспільства. Вона відіграє виняткову роль у підвищенні культурного рівня суспільного розвитку. Відомо, що сім'я є особливою соціальною групою, що заснована на кровній спорідненості і шлюбі, складаючи при цьому осередок суспільства. На формування внутрішньосімейних стосунків і повсякденний спосіб життя істотно впливають родинні звичаї і традиції, етнопсихологічні особливості укладу і побуту. Саме тому дослідження етнопсихологічних особливостей кожного народу має на сьогоднішній день виняткове значення.
