Багатозначність дієслів конкретної фізичної дії в сучасній українській літературній мові

Abstract

У дисертації досліджено багатозначність дієслів конкретної фізичної дії в сучасній українській літературній мові. Семантичний і функціональний аспекти полісемії багатозначних дієслів конкретної фізичної дії з’ясовано на матеріалі дієслів, що належать до трьох лексико-семантичних груп – створення, зруйнування і пошкодження, які було класифікаційно поділено на відповідні мікрогрупи. У першому розділі дисертаційної роботи розглянуто теоретичні засади лексичної полісемії, проаналізовано організацію семантичної структури полісемантеми, з’ясовано сутність понять „лексема”, „семема”, „сема”, визначено та описано, крім узуальних, периферійні типи значень: архаїчні, сленгові та оказіональні значення. У другому розділі дисертації досліджено семантичні структури багатозначних дієслів конкретної фізичної дії з первинною семантикою створення об’єкта, з’ясовано специфіку формування дієслівних семантичних дериватів, розглянуто умови та механізми появи нових значень у дієслів конкретної фізичної дії з семантикою створення об’єкта. У третьому розділі дисертаційної роботи здійснено аналіз вторинних лексико-семантичних варіантів, яких набули дієслова конкретної фізичної дії з первинною семантикою зруйнування і пошкодження об’єкта, проаналізовано мотивацію кожної семеми. У процесі аналізу простежено особливості функціонування полісемічних дієслів фізичної дії у синтаксичних побудовах, з’ясовано контекстуальні умови функціонування лексико-семантичних варіантів дієслів, описано зв’язки між значеннями у структурі лексеми та виявлено семантичні компоненти, що мотивують вторинні значення. Дослідження значеннєвих парадигм полісемантичних дієслів здійснено на основі урахування взаємодії парадигматичних і синтагматичних векторів структурної організації лексики. Матеріали та результати дисертаційного дослідження сприятимуть поглибленому осмисленню механізмів формування значень, ролі синтагматики та позамовних чинників у цьому процесі, регулярності розвитку полісемії. Комплексний аналіз денотативних, конотативних і денотативно-конотативних семем уможливить систематизацію значень дієслів української мови.

The thesis presents a scientific investigation of the polysemy of the concrete physical action verbs in the modern Ukrainian literary language. The semantic and functional aspects of the multivalued concrete physical action verbs are investigated on the material of three lexico-semantic groups of verbs with the primary meanings “to build”, “to destroy” and “to deform” which have been transformed into the appropriate microgroups. The first part of the research work reviews the theoretical principles of lexical polysemy and specific character of semantic organization of a word, the essence of the notions “lexeme”, “sememe”, “seme”, and the types of the meanings including usual generally known meanings and peripheral meanings such as the archaic ones, the slangy ones and the occasionalisms. The second part of the dissertation focuses upon the valency and semantic structure of the concrete physical action verbs which have the primary meaning “to build something”. The concluding part of the research work presents the analysis of the secondary lexico-semantic variants attaining by the concrete physical action verbs which have the primary meanings “to destroy” and “to deform something”. The studying of semantic structure of the polysemous lexemes is based on the syntagmatic and paradigmatic characteristics of the verbs. The functional observation of the verbs given in the dissertation allows to take a better advantage of the peculiarities of the verbal lexico-semantic variants’ organization as one may establish a meaning of a word if he observes its usage in the different contexts. The valent analysis and the analysis of the minimal components of a meaning as the main instruments of the investigation allow to describe the mechanisms of the semantic modifications, the lexico-semantic variants’ relationship and semantic components which take part in the meaning creation. The research work has greatly widened the understanding of general mechanisms of the meaning formation, particularizes the role of contextual conditions and non-linguistic factors for this process, traces the regularities of the polysemy development and functioning of the lexico-semantic variants in the sentence structures, and presents the complex systematic investigation of the denotative, connotative and denotative-connotative meanings.
