У статті зазначено, що з позицій сьогодення одним з пріоритетних соціальних завдань нашої держави є трансформація сфери вищої фізкультурної освіти відповідно до світових тенденцій у цій галузі і до вимог сучасного ринку зайнятості населення. Зміна соціокультурної й економічної ситуації, зміна освітніх і наукових парадигм на сучасному етапі розвитку суспільства спричинили необхідність переосмислення функціонального призначення фізичної культури у формуванні особистості, її світогляду, розвитку адаптивних здібностей. Це, у свою чергу, призвело до зміни змісту вищої фізкультурної освіти, спрямованого на вирішення нових освітніх завдань підготовки майбутніх учителів фізичної культури, пов’язаних зі здоров’язбережувальною діяльністю.
The article noted that from the standpoint of the present time one of the priority tasks of social transformation of our country is the sphere of higher sports education in line with global trends in the industry and with the requirements of the modern market employment. Changing socio-cultural and economic conditions, changes in the educational and scientific paradigms at the present stage of development of society entailed the need to rethink the functional purpose of physical culture in the formation of personality, its outlook and the development of adaptive abilities. This, in turn, led to a change in the content of higher sports education, aimed at solving new educational tasks of training future teachers of physical training, activities related preservation of health.
