Стаття присвячена проблемі співвіднесення мовних (типологічних) і позамовних (генетичних, антропологічних та археологічних) свідоцтв про доїндоєвропейський субстрат в слов'янських, германських і романських мовах. Постулюється участь неіндоевропейского (баскського, фінно-угорського, кавказького) компонента в процесах лінгво-і етногенезу на території доісторичної Європи.
The article deals with the correlation of linguistic (typological) and extralinguistic (genetic, anthropological and archaeological) evidence of before Indo-European substrate in the Slavic, Germanic and Romance languages. Рostulated participation non Indo-European (Basque, Finno-Ugric, Caucasian) component in the process of linguistic and ethnogenesis in the prehistoric Europe.
