Особливості соціальної компетентності старших школярів з інтелектуальними порушеннями

Abstract

Стаття присвячена опису особливостей соціальної компетентності старших школярів з інтелектуальними порушеннями. Соціальна компетентність розглядається як набута здатність особистості гнучко реагувати на змінювані соціальні умови, що створює основу для ефективної взаємодії з оточуючими та успішної соціалізації. Результати теоретико-експериментального дослідження вказують на суттєве зниження соціальної компетентності старших школярів з інтелектуальними порушеннями. Домінуючими рівнями соціальної компетентності старших школярів з інтелектуальними порушеннями є середній та низький. Виразні порушення виявлено за показниками: «організованість і довільність», «ставлення до власних обов’язків», «розвиток спілкування». Їм притаманні труднощі комунікативної взаємодії, виразні порушення організаторських здібностей, здатності планувати та контролювати діяльність, приймати рішення та покладати на себе відповідальність за їх виконання.

The article is devoted to the description of the features of the social competence of older students with intellectual disabilities. Social competence is considered as the acquired ability of an individual to respond flexibly to changing social conditions, which creates the basis for effective interaction with others and successful socialization. The results of the theoretical and experimental study indicate a significant decrease in the social competence of older students with intellectual disabilities. The dominant levels of social competence of older students are medium and low. Expressed violations were identified according to the criteria: "organization and arbitrariness", "attitude to one's duties", "development of communication". It has been established that most of the respondents of senior school age with intellectual disabilities have a level of development of organizational capabilities below the average. Such children are poorly oriented in an unfamiliar situation, lack initiative and are socially passive, do not participate in social activities, avoid making independent decisions and do not know how to take responsibility. They are characterized by difficulties in communicative interaction, significant violations of organizational skills, the ability to plan and control activities, make decisions and take responsibility for them. The results obtained indicate the importance of conducting corrective-developed work with older students in order to develop their communication skills, the formation of a responsible attitude to their duties, the skills of planning, monitoring and analyzing their own activities and life goal-setting.
