У статті розглянуто аспекти професійної підготовки майбутніх менеджерів соціокультурної сфери в зарубіжних країнах. Проаналізовано сучасні вимоги до змісту підготовки менеджера соціально-культурної діяльності, обумовлені, з одного боку, тенденціями розвитку суспільства і його духовної сфери, а з іншого – нормативними документами, що регламентують порядок і зміст освітнього процесу для управлінських кадрів в соціально-культурній сфері з адаптуванням закордонного досвіду.
The article deals with aspects of future professional training of managers of the socio-cultural sphere in foreign countries. The Leading institutions in the field of professional training of leisure industry managers are mentioned: British Institute of Management, Institute of Leisure and Amenity Management and the Institute of Sport and Recreation Management The modern requirements to the content of the manager of social and cultural activity are analyzed, which on the one hand deal with the tendencies of society development and its spiritual sphere, and, on the other hand, with normative documents regulating the order and content of the educational process for management personnel in the socio-cultural sphere with adaptation to foreign experience. The general intensification of the life processes actualizes the need for the development of a high level of general, aesthetic, communicative, informational culture of a person, the ability to realize the recreational and cathartic functions of art, and integrate diverse, often opposing knowledge contents.It was established that the educational model of training managers of socio-cultural activities in foreign countries in the majority has a cultural-oriented model, the purpose of which is not only the consumption and translation of knowledge, but also the generation of human ability to restore knowledge in various forms of socio-cultural practices. In the Anglo-American model of leisure organization an important role is assigned to the regions. Hence a variety of concepts and approaches, initiatives to organize the practical activities of cultural institutions, art, leisure, training specialists is used. It was determined that the positive experience of preparing future managers of the socio-cultural sphere would improve the professional program of a specialist in socio-cultural activities in Ukraine, help to formulate the requirements putting forward by society at the present, to identify the objective opportunities and conditions for improving the professional training of specialists in the field of leisure. As a result, it was determined that the professional training of the manager of social and cultural activity is the process and the result of the higher education institutions graduates formation concerning the professional programs of the bachelors, masters and post-graduate courses of knowledge, skills and values of the institutions (relations), or, what is the same, organizational and managerial competencies.
