Здійснено аналіз професійно-орієнтованого потенціалу змісту та методів викладання навчальної дисципліни “Біологія з основами генетики” для студентів, що навчаються за освітньо-професійною програмою “Фармація” та здобувають рівень вищої освіти перший (бакалаврський) у фаховому коледжі. Детально проілюстровано взаємозв’язок тем цього курсу із фаховими дисциплінами та професійною діяльністю майбутніх фармацевтів. Специфіка навчальної дисципліни “Біологія з основами генетики”, а саме близькість її змісту зі шкільним курсом біології вимагає особливого підходу до організації навчальної діяльності здобувачів освіти. Спираючись на досвід використання професійно-орієнтованого викладання, аргументовано його ефективність і важливе значення для підвищення мотивації студентів до навчання. Такі питання навчального курсу, як будова, функціонування та життєвий цикл клітини є теоретичною базою для розуміння механізмів дії багатьох лікарських засобів. У статті наведено приклади препаратів, які впливають на функціонування конкретних клітинних структур, процеси поділу клітини та запрограмованої клітинної смерті (апоптозу). Вказано на форми самостійної роботи студентів під час вивчення окремих тем модуля “Основи генетики”, а саме питань спадкових хвороб, їх етіології та фармакокорекції. Продемонстровано доцільність вивчення майбутніми фармацевтами основ біотехнології та генної інженерії, сучасні досягнення яких знаходять практичне застосування у виробництві лікарських препаратів. Питання основ медичної паразитології характеризується найбільш очевидними зв’язками з фаховими дисциплінами та майбутньою професією студентів фармацевтичного коледжу. Під час вивчення різних видів паразитів (найпростіших, гельмінтів, членистоногих) необхідно демонструвати взаємозумовленість їх морфології та життєвих циклів і засобів лікування та профілактики відповідних хвороб.
The article analyzes the professional-oriented potential of the content and methods of teaching the discipline “Biology with the basics of genetics” for students studying in the educational-professional program “Pharmacy” and receiving the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education in a professional college. The relationship of the topics of this course with the professional disciplines and professional activities of future pharmacists is illustrated in detail. The specifics of the discipline “Biology with the basics of genetics”, namely, the proximity of its content with the school course of biology, requires a special approach to the organization of educational activities of students. Based on the experience of using professionally-oriented teaching, its effectiveness and importance for increasing students’ motivation to study is argued. Training course issues such as cell structure, function, and life cycle are a theoretical basis for understanding the mechanisms of action of many drugs. The article presents examples of drugs that affect the functioning of specific cell structures, cell division and programmed cell death (apoptosis). The forms of independent work of students in the study of certain topics of the module “Fundamentals of Genetics”, namely the issues of hereditary diseases, their etiology and pharmacocorrection. The expediency of future pharmacists studying the basics of biotechnology and genetic engineering, the modern achievements of which find practical application in the production of drugs, has been demonstrated. The question of the basics of medical parasitology is characterized by the most obvious connections with professional disciplines and the future profession of students of the College of Pharmacy. In the study of different types of parasites (protozoa, helminths, arthropods) it is necessary to demonstrate the interdependence of their morphology and life cycles and means of treatment and prevention of relevant disease.
