Статтю присвячено актуальній проблемі розвитку соціокультурної компетенції майбутніх фахівців дошкільної освіти під час вивчення англійської мови. Метою дослідження є визначення особливостей та наукове обґрунтування соціокультурної компетенції майбутніх фахівців дошкільної освіти під час вивчення англійської мови. Формування соціокультурної компетенції є одним із пріоритетів вивчення англійської мови, оскільки вона надає студентам унікальну можливість застосовувати свої знання щодо мовних та культурних особливостей, звичок, традицій, стандартів поведінки, етикету англомовних країн у спілкуванні з представниками цих країн. Науковою новизною дослідження є розробка і впровадження в освітній процес комплекс навчальних завдань, які ефективно впливають на підвищення рівня соціокультурної компетенції майбутніх фахівців дошкільної освіти. У статті обґрунтовано теоретичні засади процесу формування соціокультурної компетенції під час вивчення англійської мови майбутніми фахівцями дошкільної освіти. Визначено компоненти, форми та методи формування соціокультурної компетенції під час вивчення англійської мови. Здобуті результати засвідчили правомірність вихідних положень дослідження, а реалізація мети і завдань стали підставою для відповідних висновків. Сформований рівень соціокультурної компетенції майбутніх фахівців дошкільної освіти у процесі виконання ними навчальних завдань є підтвердженням ефективності процесу формування завдяки інноваційним технологіям, спрямованим на вміння оцінювати соціолінгвістичні відмінності між двома культурами, застосовувати знання щодо особливості культури країни, мова якої вивчається, висловлювати своє ставлення до літератури, науки, мистецтва, культури народу, мова якого вивчається, вирішувати соціокультурні завдання в різноманітних ситуаціях спілкування, висловлювати власні думки, обґрунтовувати та відстоювати свою позицію.
The article is devoted to the current problem of development of socio-cultural competence of future specialists in preschool education while learning English. The aim of the research is definition of the features and scientific substantiation of socio-cultural competence of future specialists in preschool education while learning English. The formation of socio-cultural competence is one of the priorities of learning English, as it gives students a unique opportunity to apply their knowledge of the language and cultural features, habits, traditions, standards of behavior, etiquette of English-speaking countries during communication with representatives of these countries. The scientific novelty of the research is the development and implementation a set of educational tasks that effectively affect the level of socio-cultural competence of future specialists in preschool education in the educational process. The article substantiates the theoretical foundations of the process of formation of socio-cultural competence while learning English by future specialists in preschool education. The components, forms and methods of formation of socio-cultural competence while learning English are determined. The obtained results confirmed the validity of the initial provisions of the research, and the realization of the purpose and the objectives became the basis for the relevant conclusions. The formed level of socio-cultural competence of future specialists in preschool education in the process of performing their educational tasks is a confirmation of the effectiveness of the formation process through innovative technologies. They focus on skills to appreciate sociolinguistic differences between cultures; apply knowledge about the peculiarities of the culture of the country whose language is being studied; to express their attitude to the literature, science, art, culture of the people whose language is being studied; to solve socio-cultural problems in various communication situations; express their own opinions; substantiate and defend their point of view.
