One of the main tasks of scientists in the field of physical rehabilitation is constant analyzying innovative foreign and national methods of the quality recovery of the patient. Since athletes are constantly preparing for competitions, they need to recover as soon as possible and continue training. But after the injury they have to face a period of recovery, which is long. Sports games are characterized in the most by fast and impetuous movements, sharp brakes and stops, a lot of jumps. All this puts a heavy burden on athletes’ lower limbs in general and on the knee joints, in particular. According to the unanimous opinion of leading sports traumatologists, both European and American, knee joint injuries in the sports games are the number one problem. In the opinion and observation of Erickson (Sweden), football and skiing are the most traumatic for the knee joint. The percentage of knee joint injuries in studies of football players ranged from 12 to 30% (Nilson, Roas - 14%, Sulivan et al., - 12%, Ekstzand, - 20%, Albert, - 18%, Mironova ZS - 32% ). Taking into account the extraordinary popularity of football and its worldwide popularity, it can be concluded that the total number of football knee joint injuries is much higher than in other sports. Most often, the ligaments of the knee joint, both lateral and cruciform are injured most often in game sports. Their role in sports is very large, first, they keep the joint in the right position and provide smooth slide of the articular surfaces. The rupture of any of them disrupts the location of the joint and can lead to subluxation, and, ultimately, lead to degenerative changes in the joint elements.
