Творчість Остапа Вишні під тиском тоталітаризму: зміна мистецької концепції від «Чукрену» до «Самостійної дірки»

Abstract

У статті розглянуто основні чинники, що кардинально вплинули на зміну творчої концепції Остапа Вишні щодо України та українців від «Чукрену» до «Самостійної дірки». Остап Вишня як письменник був наділений талантом вміти сміятися, в першу чергу над собою, причому сміятися по-доброму з неймовірною теплотою. Але він мав надзвичайно важку життєву і творчу долю митця, який опинився під тиском більшовицького тоталітаризму. У цих обставинах митець захотів або мусив захотіти почати писати фейлетони з уїдливим, принизливим висміюванням УПА, націоналістів, української діаспори і загалом ідеї незалежності України. Цикл гострополітичних фейлетонів і сатиричних замальовок «Самостійна дірка» написаний в абсолютній співзвучності з усіма ключовими радянсько-більшовицькими міфологемами та ідеологемами у ставленні до України.

The main factors that have fundamentally influenced the change of Ostap Vyshn’a s creative concept from «Chukren» to «Independent Hole» are considered in the article. Ostap Vyshn’a, as a writer, was endowed with the talent to be able to laugh, first and foremost, and to laugh well with incredible warmth. But he had an extremely difficult life and creative destiny of the artist, who was under the pressure of Bolshevik’s totalitarianism. In these circumstances, the artist wanted or should have wanted to start writing feuilletons with the sardonic, humiliating ridicule of the «UPA», nationalists, the Ukrainian diaspora and, in general, the idea of Ukraine’s independence. Purpose. The cycle «Independent Hole» consists of 21 feuilletons united by a common storyline about the history of Ukraine. The main means of humor is irony, satire, sarcasm. Methods. Cultural-historical and comparatively historical methods were used to look at the text «Independent hole» in the socio-political context and to trace the change of creative approach to the image of «Ukrainian issues» in «Chukren» and «Independent hole». Results. The «Independent Hole» cycle is an offensive image of Ukraine without Russia. Ideologists and mythologists aim at introducing a certain state ideology that aims at fostering a «patriotic» consciousness that benefits the totalitarian state of the USSR, as well as marking an external enemy and forcing an understanding of the need to combat it. The main factors behind Bolshevik totalitarianism were clarified, which dramatically influenced the change in Ostap Vyshn’a creative concept. The artist wanted or should have wanted to start writing feuilletons with the sardonic, humiliating ridicule of the «UPA», nationalists, the Ukrainian diaspora, and in general the idea of Ukraine’s independence.Conclusions. The collection «Independent Hole» contains a set of ideologues and mythologists, and focuses on the USSR internal policy towards Ukraine and on the Soviet Union’s international relations after the war. We regard the mythologist as a deliberately distorted view of the world, which has been imposed on Bolshevism for some political purpose.
