У статті розглядається художня рецепція постаті Івана Франка та його творчості в українській поезії ХХ – ХХІ ст. Зазначено, що життєтворчість класика української літератури була і залишається досі предметом зацікавлення багатьох літературних критиків та письменників. Їх твори позначені різноаспектністю (І. Франко як Каменяр, Мойсей, поет, батько, друг, вчитель, титан тощо) та експліцитністю/імпліцитністю (про наявність образу І. Франка можемо дізнатись через заголовок, епіграф, присвяту, алюзії, ремінісценції, образні аналогії тощо) зображення І. Франка.
Introduction. The article deals with the artistic reception of Ivan Franko’s figure and his creativity in Ukrainian poetry of the XX – XXI centuries. It is noted that the life-giving of the classics of Ukrainian literature has been and still remains the subject of interest of many literary critics and writers. Purpose. The purpose of the article is to analyze the artistic reception of Ivan Franko’s figure and his creative heritage in Ukrainian poetry. Methods. Literary methods such as biographical, hermeneutic, receptive aesthetics, structural and others were used in the study. Results. The concept of Ivan Franko’s figure, his contribution, his creative achievements in the cultural and historical heritage of Ukraine and the world were resulted in dozens, and even hundreds, of different in essence and quality of publications. The reason for such close attention is, first and foremost, the depth and versatility of Ivan Franko’s figure. He is a poet, writer, translator, political figure, publisher and editor, and the author of wide-ranging scientific studies known worldwide. He owns works on problems of Ukrainian and world history, source studies, archival studies, historiography, ethnology, ethnography, folklore, philosophy, linguistics, sociology, political science, economics, etc. The works of contemporaries are characterized by the ironic decanonization and understatement of the sacred figure of the poet, as well as the artistic reception inherent in the literary tradition – a respectful attitude to I. Frankо’s image as a classic of Ukrainian literature, portrayed through a peculiar dialogue of literary generations or an extension of the semantics of his image through allusions, figurative analogies, intertextuality. Originality. The article analyzes the unexplored poetry devoted to the life and work of I. Franko, summarizes information about the peculiarities of perception and reproduction of Franko’s image by poets of the XX-XXI centuries. Conclusion. Works dedicated to the life and creativity of I. Franko, marked by various aspects (I. Franko as Stonemason, Moses, poet, father, friend, teacher, titan, etc.) and explicitness / implied (the presence of the image of I. Franko can be found through the title, epigraph, dedication, allusions, reminiscences, figurative analogies, parodies, etc.) of image reproduction. In these texts, the image of the classic of Ukrainian literature finds its expression both at the level of its structural and semantic conceptual organization (in particular, at the level of image-subject detail).
