У статті визначено основні напрями, зміст і форми спортивної роботи в загальній системі позашкільної освіти в Україні в 50–70-х рр. ХХ століття; виокремлено особливості освітньо-педагогічної діяльності з реалізації завдань фізичного виховання в позашкільних навчальних закладах загального і профільного типу; розкрито та проаналізовано стан та особливості організації навчально-виховного процесу в позашкільних закладах спортивного профілю досліджуваного періоду. Доведено, що в Україні в 50–70-х рр. ХХ століття спортивна робота посідала чільне місце в загальній системі позашкільної освіти, мета роботи якої була спрямована на виконання завдань, визначених у партійних, державних постановах і рішеннях, та базувалася на принципах єдності, безперервності, цілеспрямованості, комплексного підходу до виховання дітей та молоді. Основна роль у діяльності позашкільних закладів спортивного профілю належала спортивним гурткам і секціям, дитячим спортивним школам.
The main areas of content and form of sport in the general system of out-of-school education in Ukraine in the 50–70 years
of the XX century are defined; the features of educational and pedagogical activities for achieving the objectives of physical
education in out-of-school educational institutions of general and profile type are singled; the status and characteristics of the
educational process in out-of school institutions of sporting profile is revealed and analyzed in the study period. It is proved that
in Ukraine in 50–70 of the XX century sports activities occupied an important place in the overall out-of-school educational
system, the purpose of which was focused on the tasks set out in government regulations and decisions and based on the principles of unity, continuity, commitment, integrated approach to the education of children and youth. The main role in the activity
of out-of-school sports facilities belonged to sports clubs and sections for children's sports schools.
