Професійна компетентність сучасного вчителя трудового навчання

Abstract

У статті розглянуто важливість здійснення професійної підготовки учителів нової української школи в умовах євроінтеграції та модернізації системи освіти. Обґрунтовано умови формування нового типу вчителя трудового навчання сучасної школи, в тому числі й вчителя майбутнього, якому, крім класичних якостей (професійна компетентність, навички спілкування, організаторські здібності), мають бути властиві й творчий пошук, індивідуальний стиль роботи, почуття власної гідності і такту. Розкрито різноманітні наукові підходи до проблеми професійної компетентності сучасного вчителя трудового навчання, розкривається структура його компетентності та звертається увага на основні структурні елементи змісту професійної підготовки студентів спеціальності: 014.10 “Середня освіта. Вчитель трудового навчання та технологій” у вищому педагогічному навчальному закладі.

The article considers the importance of teacher`s professional training for the New Ukrainian School in conditions of European integration and modernization in the education system. The author substantiates the conditions for the formation of a new technology teacher type in a modern school. This is an integral part of the reforms in the system of higher pedagogical education. Attention is called to the teacher of the future. This kind of teacher must have not alone the classical qualities (professional competence, communication and organization skills), but also creative search, individual style of work, self-esteem and tact. Besides that the teacher should have the ability to synthesize material for the successful solution of pedagogical problems, to analyze pedagogical situations and, in accordance with the current situation, to choose the means of interaction with pupils. The teacher, in order to be successful and always in demand, must be ready for all changes, be able to quickly and effectively adaptation to new conditions. He must show the desire to be a specialist and constantly update knowledge and skills, look toward the self-improvement and be prepared for risk. Acquisition of professional competence comprises several stages of professional development as a specialist. During this development life and professional plans are changing. There is a change of the personality structure, understanding of main professionalactivity, social determination. The article describes various scientific approaches to the problem of professional competence of the modern technology teacher. There is the structure of his competence. Attention is called to the main structural content elements of professional training for students of the specialty: 014.10 “Secondary education. Labor training and technology” in the higher pedagogical institution. In modern conditions the professional competence guarantees the success of the professional activity of the teacher. Pedagogical education institutions have to rethink the new tasks in the system of training and improving the skills of the technology teacher for the New Ukrainian School. It is important to give weight to life strategies, competitiveness, increased flexibility and mobility of their social behavior.
