Abstract: Аналіз літературних джерел показав, що в спеціальній літературі достатньо інформації по методиці розвитку силових якостей хокеїстів.
Анализ литературных источников показал, что в специальной литературе достаточно информации по методике развития силовых качеств хоккеистов.
The main problem of the theory of sports training - identify patterns and ways to improve the competitive capacity of the previous selection by sports activities. Strictly speaking, preparing for a competition not only athletes, but also coaches, judges, etc. However, since the actions constituting the subject of race, physically always takes an athlete, it is its competitive potential usually makes the biggest impact on the value of sport performance. Therefore, the theory of sports training focused on the issues of training athlete. Training athlete - a multilateral process of using the totality of factors (tools, methods, conditions) that allows for the necessary degree of its readiness for sporting achievements. Ready (preparedness) is characterized by the appropriate level of physical and mental capacity and degree of perfection required knowledge and skills. So willingness athlete first, is one of the components of the competitive potential; second, is a characteristic of the state, acquired in the past focused training athlete selection, and, thirdly, itself consists of various components. These components, in particular, allocate physical, technical, tactical and mental (volitional) training, which takes in the appropriate section of training an athlete. Preparedness ensured primarily through sports training and competition (as a means of training) and other factors. Thus, the state of the athlete - the main object management during training. Represents a significant difficulty setting proper goals and objectives for each training session, each cycle at every stage and so on. So the coach needed strong guidance - the most accurate knowledge of what should be the size and structure of the competitive potential not only in competition, but at any time of the athlete.
