У статті розглянуто проблеми реформування сучасної шкільної іншомовної освіти в Україні: європейський контекст. Проаналізовано сучасний стан розвитку шкільної іншомовної освіти, спрямованої на реалізацію за загальноєвропейських рекомендацій з мовної освіти освіти в рамках модернізації змісту, форм і методів навчання та оцінювальних рівнів мовленнєвої компетенції учнів.
The article deals with the problems of modern school foreign language education reformation experience in Ukraine: European context. The author gives analysis of modern development position of school language education oriented on the direction of modernization processes of Common European Frames of Reference for Language education: content forms and methods of teaching, assessment of pupils communication competence levels.
